Most Active Agent ~ Proud Moment

Its a new season where everyone is learning to cope with WFH and HBL, so am I. I'm so appreciative to clients who have been so accommodating in adopting the # newnorms of moving financial planning online. I am humbled and thankful to be the 𝑻𝒐𝒑 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑨𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒕. To me, its not the title that matters, but its an 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 to my clients, even in the face of uncertainties. I believe that while we cannot predict the future, we can protect it, 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳. Stay safe and healthy. P/S: It's also an affirmation that God provides for me, regardless of the situation. He is Jehovah Jireh.

Fall, my favourite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature has been saving up all year for the grand finale. We are nearing the end of circuit breaker. Let us continue to press on, keep our spirits up, and stay safe. Jia you everyone!

Happy Mother's Day to Mummy

This is my favourite pic of my mum and me. It captured everything about our relationship. Not only did she took care of my needs, she sheltered me from every storms. She stood quietly behind me all these years, so she can have my back each time. It wasn't easy raising 6 children. She had to work multiple jobs to provide for us. She would leave the house by 530am for work, even on weekends. ... Growing up, I remember her being tired always. Every night, her body would ache, so she would fall asleep with pain relief plasters all over her back & legs. Yet not once did I ever hear her complain. She took everything in her stride, bite the bullets and pressed on, because of her unconditional love for us. I would never have known the life I'm living today, if not for her love and sacrifices. I love you mummy. Miss you too.

Grace - Unmerited Favor, Freely Given

It's been a month of circuit breaker. A month away from extended family & friends. 𝑨𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅. ... Truth be told, I don't fancy cooking on a daily affair. So to the family and friends that blessed us with so much food on a daily affair, you filled my heart with so much joy! We bask in the love that you have showered on us, such an honor and privilege. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖! Some days, it help me skip an entire day's of cooking. Some days, I'd underestimate the portion when cooking. And God always shows up, right on time. There never fail to be another surprise delivery of food. Every blessing reflects the magnitude of God's love for us. Each delivery was so apt, indeed He knows every single need we have. I stand even more amazed by how all the deliveries seem so well-coordinated by itself. They don't arrive at one shot, but were spread out almost daily, ensuring a constant supply of food. God makes the perfect logistic

Where is God in the midst of Covid-19?

As the death toll increase, my heart aches increasingly each day. They aren't just numbers, but they are a mother, a father, a brother, a sister, a child to someone. I have many unanswered questions. Why did God allow them to die? Why did God not heal the land when He is almighty God? I am not angry at God; I am upset at the situation. I have no answer to date, but I cannot deny the presence of God each day at home. Even when my family is all locked up at home due to our Stay Home Notice, God remains faithful. He is omnipresent. I'm so thankful for His Shalom peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding that guards our heart. In the midst of the chaos, He is my tower of refuge. He is not deaf; He hear my cries, even the silent ones. He knows my brokenness. There are many uncertainties, but I know He is a faithful God. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. My income have been drastically affected, but my future remains in Him. Circumstances may have changed, bu

Choose Who You Want To Be During Covid.

Let's us take ownership of what we share on social media, especially during this time. It's a good opportunity for us to learn and grow together, to encourage our fellow brethren. When fear is the compass of our life, our attention centers on the current situation and on ourselves. But when we choose to learn and grow together, we can then adapt to the new lifestyle and still enjoy living in the moment to the fullest. We have a choice to take this opportunity to enjoy stay ing home or be upset about our plans being disrupted. When we are at the growing stage, we will also start to see others, and to support each other through this difficult season. Seasons don't last, but the lessons we'll learnt will last a lifetime. # staystrongtogether # togetherwecan

Where is God when it Hurts?

"Simply follow Jesus through the Gospels and watch his response to a widow who lost her only son, or even a Roman soldier whose servant has fallen ill. Never does he blame the victim or philosophise about the cause. Always, without exception, He responds with compassion, comfort, and healing. Christians believe that Jesus is, as Colossians tells us, “the exact likeness of the unseen God” (Colossians 1:15, TLB). Jesus’ followers are God’s designated agents of comfort and help, ... the literal “Body of Christ”. If you want to know how God feels about people who are suffering, look at Jesus. God is on their side. Jesus knew suffering up close, as a willing victim of our planet’s brokenness. And when He ascended, He sent his followers into the world “as the Father has sent me”, to be God’s agents of comfort and healing. In a lovely phrase, the apostle Paul refers to the God of all comfort, “who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble wi
