Goodbye 2018!

Coming to the end of the year, the best gift I had was a glimpse of God's faithfulness and love for our family 💖

The last 2 months were challenging and hectic.

It was a very crucial time in my work. I need to hit the target for Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) by end Dec 🎯 101% focus is required in this last lap 🏃🏻‍♀️

But it was also the girls' school holidays, and we had lined up travel plans half a year ago ✈ I have their 2019 school stuffs to settle. We'd made grand plans of spending time together 👩‍👧‍👧 And serving in the church camp falls in this season.

Unexpectedly, James had to travel extensively for work during this period. Each time he travels, we wouldn't know when he would be back. Even then, on the very day he's due to be back, things can always change & he'll need to extend his stay there. And each trip was usually 2-3 weeks long.

Then the girls fell sick, with high fever.

I didn't just had commitments to meet, they were priorities in my life. Each day, I'm surviving on 4-5 hours of sleep 😴 Knowing the purpose kept me going, and the joy of the Lord sustained me.

When life throws us lemons 🍋, I am glad God made them into lemonades 🥤 He made a way for us.

James managed to be back in time for both of our overseas family trips. Not only that, he managed to serve in the church camp and JAMs big day. We weren't sure if he could be back for our church's Christmas service. He did, and manage to reach Singapore just hours before we fetch his parents to our church service 💒 Woohoo!

I managed to fulfill every plans I had with the girls, to play the games they had wanted, to explore the places we talked about, and to watch countless of movies together at home 📺

And with everything happening at the worst timing, I'd achieved MDRT. That puts me among one of the top Financial Services Consultants in the world.

My hands are full, but so is my heart 💖 A big shout out to those who spend time with me, to celebrate my birthday, or simply to catch up. Its a busy season for you, yet you choose to make time for me. Your presence and watsapp messages were my fuel when I was running low on battery.

If all these sound incredible, that's only because God is amazing 🙌🏻 I am but a potter in His hands. If your year ends well, praise God. If things are not going in the way it should, praise Him still. He is still good and can be trusted 🌈

May 2019 be a year of enlargement for you! 🙌🏻

MidWinter Green, Khao Yai

MidWinter Green is one of the most popular restaurants in Khao Yai, and it is understandably so once you experience it yourself. The outer building looks charming and mysterious like a typical European castle, and it looks like it has many stories to tell. The interior is tastefully renovated and clothed in grandeur. The outdoor dining area is very spacious, overlooking the magnificent view of mountains behind the green fields. MidWinter Green is also a nice spot for sunset. The sky changes color to a beautiful hue of purple and pink as the sun begins to set. Do take note the sun starts to set about 545pm in December when we were there, and it gets dark pretty fast after that. The live band that starts at 630pm was good, and the light show at 8pm reminded me of the ones I saw at Universal Studios Sentosa. There are some lovely spots scattered around the compound that are so insta-friendly for the insta-lovers. Wha...
